The Mini Trail makes the little ones happy and goes to 11 May
Wednesday 10 April 2024 - The organisers and volunteers of the Campo dei Fiori Trail do not give up despite cancellation of the event due to bad weather and continue determinedly to hold high the flag of the Trail Running Varese, starting with the youngest.
By popular demand, the Campo dei Fiori Outdoor ASD has decided to make the over 500 children who had registered for the Mini Trail in March and to give them a chance to run and have fun all together before the end of the school year. Here comes the non-competitive race will be held Saturday 11 May at Din Don Park of the Municipality of Bardello with Malgesso and Bregano. The meeting is set for 2.30 p.m.
A change of location that will allow many novelties, such as riding the pony of the’Il Pivione“ farmhouse” for the “saddle christening” or to do the child make-up whose proceeds will go to the Onlus Charity In The World which has been implementing projects for people living in disadvantaged situations for years.
To award the young athletes, there will be the’Ultra Trail Runner Andrea Macchi, for everyone “The Lynx of Gavirate” who has visited several schools in recent months to talk about his experience and convey all the passion he feels for this outdoor discipline that is so tiring, but which knows how to give moments of great joy.

The Mini Trail is organised by the Campo dei Fiori Outdoor ASD in collaboration with the Italian Alpine Club, Gavirate section, with the contribution of the Varese Chamber of Commerce e Varese Sport Commission and the logistical support of the Proloco of Bardello with Malgesso and Bregano; is sponsored by the Municipality of Bardello with Malgesso and Bregano.

It will be Scoiattolo itself that will distribute in the children's race packs tasty samples of ravioli ready to cook in the family.
