THE EVENT
The CAI Gavirate e A.S.D. Campo dei Fiori OUTDOOR invite children aged 6 to 10 (primary school) to take part in the Campo dei Fiori MiniTrail (non-competitive), a fun motor activity with the aim of promoting and introducing them to trail running (running in nature).
The route is located in the context of the Parco Din Don di Bardello with Malgesso and Bregano. A route of approximately 800 metres will be laid out (without access to roads with vehicles) on which the children will be able to run with different departures by age. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders will do one lap while the 4th and 5th graders will do 2 laps. For safety reasons it is not permitted to accompany participating children on the course during the running activity. Parents will accompany the children to the entrance of the starting area and they will run independently.
The initiative finds the cooperation of the partner the Concessionaire MARELLI & WELLS, always attentive to the initiatives of the area and of young people, who will give a nice gift to all young participants in the Mini Trail.
The participation award will be presented at the end of the event together with a participation medal (with special significance for environmental sustainability)
The event is also realised under the patronage of the Bardello Municipality with Malgesso and Bregano and the logistical support of the Proloco of Bardello with Malgesso and Bregano. Also contributing to the success of the event are the companies ITAS Insurance e VIBRAM, former supporters of the Campo dei Fiori Trail.
THE PROGRAMME
Registration (free of charge) will take place on the day of the event SATURDAY 16 MAY from 2 p.m. at Din Don Park (Via Besozzo, 320, 21020 Malgesso VA) dividing the participants into five categories that will each cover a distance of approximately 1 km:
- age 5th primary (no. 2 laps)
- age 4 primary (no. 2 laps)
- age 3° primary (no. 1 lap)
- age 2nd primary (no. 1 lap)
- age 1st primary (no. 1 lap)
Below is the PROGRAM:
- 2 p.m. OPENING REGISTRATION at Din Don Park-> (Via Besozzo, 320, 21020 Malgesso VA)
- 3 p.m. DEPARTURE Mini Trail (non-competitive) first the 5th PRIMARY CATEGORY followed by the others
- Refreshment and Final Snack for all participating children
- AWARDS FOR ALLI (medal and gadget) in closing
In the event area, the TRAIL VILLAGE with stands of sporting and gastronomic partners (beer stand) to welcome and entertain the accompanying young athletes of the minitrail with many initiatives, such as being able to pony riding of the’Il Pivione“ farmhouse” with “saddle christening” or to try the child make-up whose proceeds will go to the Onlus Charity In The World which has been implementing projects for people living in disadvantaged situations for years.
