IMPORTANT NOTICE
You who run over the limit for hours and hours in the mountains never lack suspense, and neither do we in the Campo dei Fiori Trail organisation who remain with bated breath until the last trail runner arrives at the finish line. This is because we care about all of you and we want to make your day an unforgettable moment.
On Saturday 21 September, our beautiful territory will offer you magnificent scenery, we will take care of your safety.
In order to do this, and at the specific request of the local authority, we ‘had’ to change the route of all the races scheduled one week before the event. The start will be the same as in previous editions, but when you come down from Campo dei Fiori, just before Motta d'Oro, you will have to go left towards Comerio and then Voltorre. Once you reach the cycle track, you will arrive straight at the Lido di Gavirate. A final stretch to be ridden at full speed to cross the finish line in a sprint.
The event grows year by year and finding the right route that can accommodate an increasing number of people is a real challenge. Maps in hand, passing through Comerio will also allow the Ultra Trailers of the Kratos 90k to complete the race on Saturday night without too many problems. While those taking part in the Morselli Trail 11k will see a small variant on the summit and, with the new return, will run a total of 12 kilometres. All other trails will increase by about 2 kilometres. A small change because safety is paramount for us and we think it is for you too.
